BGSU Firelands and Associate Degree Programs

BGSU Firelands is the regional campus and one of seven undergraduate colleges of Bowling Green State University. Located on the shore of Lake Erie, Firelands is within easy commuting distance of most communities in north central Ohio. Students may now choose from 14 associate degree programs,nine bachelor's degrees, and two master’s degrees at the BGSU Firelands campus in Huron, Ohio.

BGSU collaborates with Lorain County Community College to offer courses on its campus. Students enrolled in these courses complete requirements for specific BGSU degree programs while attending their local community college.

BGSU offers many online courses and online bachelor's degree completion programs The Advanced Technological Education degree program is designed for individuals who have completed a two-year applied associate’s degree. The Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree program is ideal for students with previous college credit who would like flexibility in course selection while completing a liberal education program. Cohort-based Master of Education degree programs and professional development for educators in 25 Northwest Ohio counties are coordinated by BGSU’s Off-Campus Programs.
